Minimum and maximum players
You need at least two people to make meaningful progress. Up to twelve can join a session, creating a looser, more chaotic expedition around challenges that center on communication.
What the host chooses
| World setting | Use it when… |
|---|---|
| 2 players | Two people will reliably be present. |
| 3 players | Your core group is a trio. |
| 4+ players | At least four people will stay involved. |
This setting configures challenges; it does not cap the number of people who may join. Choose based on the smallest dependable group, especially if friends may leave early.
What is the ideal group size?
There is no official best number. Smaller groups create a focused cooperative experience; larger groups make communication, wandering and role-splitting more playful and unpredictable.
Can you play solo?
You can enter and look around alone, but Big Walk is built around teamwork and talking, so you will not get far. There is no dedicated solo campaign.
