2–12 players

How Many Players Can Play Big Walk?

Two players minimum, twelve maximum—and the host’s world setting matters more than finding one perfect group size.

Quick answer: Big Walk is designed for 2–12 online players. It has no full single-player mode and no public matchmaking.

Minimum and maximum players

You need at least two people to make meaningful progress. Up to twelve can join a session, creating a looser, more chaotic expedition around challenges that center on communication.

What the host chooses

World setting Use it when…
2 players Two people will reliably be present.
3 players Your core group is a trio.
4+ players At least four people will stay involved.

This setting configures challenges; it does not cap the number of people who may join. Choose based on the smallest dependable group, especially if friends may leave early.

What is the ideal group size?

There is no official best number. Smaller groups create a focused cooperative experience; larger groups make communication, wandering and role-splitting more playful and unpredictable.

Can you play solo?

You can enter and look around alone, but Big Walk is built around teamwork and talking, so you will not get far. There is no dedicated solo campaign.
